User Selected Settings for Provisioning(Oracle Autonomous Database)

Customers provision Autonomous Databases that are Highly Available (running RAC database on Exadata Infrastructure) in just a few minutes using either the service console or the REST API.


Databases are automatically provisioned within a few minutes to support the chosen type of workload. Oracle automatically takes a nightly backup of all Autonomous Databases, and backups are preserved for up to 60 days.

1) How to validate which version dbaas tool running       rpm -qa --last | grep -i dbaastools_exa The command below output :- dbaastools_exa-1.0-1+18.2.3.2.0_190708.2222.x86_64 2) Validate the latest tools version available . Run below command as root user  dbaascli patch tools list  Below output for the command  DBAAS CLI version 18.2.3.2.0 Executing command patch tools list Checking tools on all nodes Current Patchid on : 18.2.3.2.0_190708.2222  Available Patches Patchid : 18.2.3.2.0_190801.1500 Patchid : 18.2.3.2.0_190826.0552 Patchid : 19.4.1.0.0_190827.1034(LATEST)  Install tools patch using dbaascli patch tools apply --patchid 19.4.1.0.0_190827.1034    or dbaascli patch tools apply --patchid LATEST this is latest version(19.4.1.0.0_190827.1034(LATEST)) available on the server . 3) Upgrade the the tools as root user .  dbaascli patch tools apply --patchid LATEST  It will take approx 2 hours to complete this command ....
